Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
No. The quote tool asks for gender, date of birth, general health, tobacco use, coverage amount and term length. Those six inputs are sufficient to return carrier quotes. Personal details like your name, address and medical history are only collected if you choose to move forward with an application.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
They represent the rates each carrier quotes for the health class you described. After you apply, the carrier's underwriting team may confirm that class, improve it or change it, which affects your final premium. This site shows you the quotes as they stand, not as a guarantee or offer of insurance.
What happens when I click Apply?
You enter your name, the system creates an application from the specific quote you selected, and then you continue on the carrier's secure platform. You can pause and resume, and you sign documents electronically. Susman Insurance Agency, a licensed California agency (License 0B75129), handles the process.
Will I need a medical exam?
It depends on the carrier, the coverage amount, and your health answers. Some carriers can make an immediate decision for eligible applicants, while others require additional evaluation. Each quote tells you whether the carrier requires an exam, might require one, or doesn't require one.
Is a longer term better?
Choose a term length that covers the years your family would struggle financially if you weren't there—a mortgage, children's education, a business loan. A 30-year term costs more per month than a 20-year term but locks in your rate for longer. The quote tool lets you compare all options: 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 years.
Does this site sell my information?
No. The quote tool doesn't require your name or contact information, we don't sell or share visitor data, and our analytics don't use cookies. The privacy page details everything collected and by whom.
